Crosswind Turbulence Rwy 27

Beware turbulence during last 200ft of approach Rwy 27 due earth work mounds immediately north of Rwy 27 threshold. Any crosswind component (particularly from the north) on this runway can cause aircraft handling difficulties.

Village School:-

Marshfield Primary school  is situated in the large field NW of RWY 09 threshold.  Pilots MUST ensure they do not overfly these
buildings at any height;  all RWY 09 approaches are to be made at an angle south of the centreline (see map).

Unusable Surface Areas:-

The airstrip is part of a working farm. Therefore, the surface areas that lie outside of the runway, taxiways  and parking areas, as shown on this web sites charts, are not load bearing.
